Learn robotics with the award-winning FIRST Robotics Competition team Code Orange 3476. Due to Covid-19, our summer camp will provide a remote but hands-on learning environment (via Google Meet and loaner hardware kits for robot building activities) on how to design and build a FIRST Robotic Competition (“FRC”) robot. Our camp is ideally suitable for any campers who may be interested in robotics and/or joining a FRC team including Code Orange as it will be an intense week of learning and hands-on activities relating to FRC. The camp introduces topics related to FRC such as engineering design process, robot fabrication, computer-aided 3D machine design (“CAD”), 3-D printing and electronics.)

Who: Kids age 11-16 years old
When: August 3-7, 2020 (sessions are scheduled to be held between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.)
Where: Remote learning via Google Meet and hardware kits that will be checked out and must be timely returned to 2 Skylark Drive, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656 (late or non-returned hardware kits will be charged).
Registration Fees: $400 including Code Orange gift
Requirement- must have computer hardware for remote learning (and preferably for CAD). We will provide use of CAD software for the duration of the summer camp.
